Wow. I myself plan to build a small steamboat, I need to move to a house with the space first. And finish my car, small details! It will be small enough to tow and launch from a ramp so maybe a bit shorter than this nice one.

Yeah I have been there, I have lots of pictures to decide on the type I want. I have a small working model engine that was my grandfathers, he was an engineer on an liberty ship. It won't be on a lake so I think I need a higher rail than some of these. I can't wait to put around, the noise is great on the water, a nice gentle sound. The hardest part is the engine but there are people that make them and the forum can help. There is a lot of interest in the UK with all the waterways. I think mine will be something like this.
